RAYMOND DOBBE – founder/Director
I HAVE BEEN A GRAFTER SINCE PRIMARY SCHOOL, THE YOUNGEST IN A DUTCH IMMIGRANT FAMILY, ALWAYS HAVING AFTER-SCHOOL AND HOLIDAY JOBS, OR SMALL ENTREPRENEURIAL SIDE-LINES. I DO NOT PRETEND TO BE AN ACADEMIC OR STRONG READER, BUT RATHER A STREET-SMART LEARNER, DOER AND PEOPLE LOVER.
While the large school class environment was not designed for my learning style, I soon found out once I left school that I did had some “clever” in me and while I do apparently have a touch of ADHD with resulting reading difficulties, I was actually able to excel at things of interest and then positively contribute.
After starting and developing and selling multiple successful businesses for over 30 years, I am now at a point and comfortable position that enables me to have businesses “for good”. I like to be part of teams that facilitate and enable people and businesses alike, to leave this world in a healthy space, with ethical, fair, and financially positive processes in workplaces for staff, the products they produce, the waste left behind, and the communities they live in.
I understand my weaknesses and let others show their skills in those areas. I prefer to focus on what I can do well: spotting opportunities, looking outside “the square”, networking, listening, and facilitating results.
I do fight for the underdog, and I respect and appreciate the learnings from those who have come before me.
